I am an academic researcher specializing in applied microeconomics and a nonacademic practitioner/creator in the field of generative AI, treating both as separate activities. With a Doctor of Economics degree conferred by Nagoya University (Japan) in March 2020, I have been conducting scholarly research into platform markets with the characteristics heterogeneity among potential users for over 10 years (including when I was a graduate student at Nagoya University), basically from a perspective of industrial organization. Regarding the AI-related activity, I focus on prompt engineering for, vibe coding with, and proposing advanced usages of LLM-powered AI applications, having a relationship with a startup company in this field.
I currently pursue an alternative career. Regarding my academic self, I am a semi-independent researcher, affiliated as a nonregular graduate student at Open University of Japan and having no researcher status granted. On the other hand, I engage in the AI-related activity as a completely independent professional and consider it done for a living.
応用ミクロ経済学専門の研究者［博士（経済学）（名古屋大学, 2020年3月）］として活動しつつ、並行して生成AI分野の実践家・クリエイターとしても活動しています。経済学者としては、潜在的ユーザーの特性に関して異質性が存在するプラットフォーム市場について主に産業組織論の視点から分析する研究に取り組んでおり、（名古屋大学の大学院生だった時期を含めれば）10年以上になります。AI活動については、LLM系AIサービスに関してプロンプトエンジニアリングやバイブコーディングを行ったり、高度な利用方法を提示したりすることに力点を置いており、スタートアップ企業と関係を築いて取り組んでいるものもあります。
私は現在、パラレルキャリアの形で活動しています。学術分野に関しては、研究者資格は付与されていませんが、放送大学に「修士選科生」として所属しており、半独立研究者という立場になっています。他方、AI活動に関しては、完全に独立した立場で取り組んでおり、また収入という観点では本業相当の活動に位置づけています。
